The other day my hubby was saying that he would like to land in the Summer months. I told him that he is lucky that I live in the mildest part of Canada (I live close to Vancouver) and he has nothing to worry about! I said if a Jamaican can survive winters on the prairies or in the Yukon, he will do just fine!!
It is going to be 31 degrees here today so we are still enjoying Summer here on the West Coast!!

Yes August 30th was the 20 working days. I emailed them Sept 3 asking how or when do we find out about our application this was their reply Sept 3/13

Hello
The application was received by the High Commission on the following business day August 5th. There is currently a backlog of summer applicants which we presume has resulted in the delays you are experiencing. The High Commission is working on this situation and we are therefore unable to give any further updates beyond what is available on the website.

So I read about the article on the forum being 3 months so I asked because we are now 27 business days and still nothing. I pray that its soon but what I want is for his PR to be started more then anything. I want my hubby here before the end of October. I feel bad that he has to come here in the winter. Seeing I am in the Yukon and it gets pretty cold Dec to Feb

Good Afternoon Jam Fam,

Well Happy Hump Day to all

@Carm how are you doing? Sorry you haven't heard any news on the visitors visa hopefully PR comes before that

@Nev how are you doing

Well this month some time is Maddants interview I hope it goes well for Mr and Mrs Maddants. I guess they both are taking a break from the forum till their interview date has passed.

Wishing everyone a good week along with a good weekend, bless up the Kingston workers they are working.

I forgot to mention welcome to all the new members that joined our little forum. Sit back and enjoy this bumpy ride as we call it to immigration. Hopefully all of the 2012 applicants will soon move out so you 2013 applicants can hear some good news.

OMMMMGGGGG CONGRATS!!!!! at least its some good news to smile and be happy about. That is so funny as all of a sudden its completed as you got an email from them today. Maybe they put themselves into gear and finished it off. I really hope and pray your hubby is coming home to you as early as of next week.
