Good morning to all the lovely people!!!

Kingston is going to give us some more wonderful news AGAIN today...this time I feel it in my knee's!!!...lol

Keep up the good work KINGSTON!!!! ;D

Good morning! Happy Hump Day!

Good morning everyone,

Congrats to those who got their PPRs and Interview dates!!!!

I just heard back from my MP who said that my application was in Kingston and still pending initial review. She said it would take 19 months from the date I was approved as a sponsor which was March 28. She also said that it could take longer because of the strike. I told her I thought that the strike wasn't effecting Kingston and she said that it was effecting all foreign embassies. :(

For some reason though I have a hard time believing that it will take the full 19 months...any thoughts?

Wishing you all lots of good thoughts and hoping we will all be reunited with our loved ones soon.

Hi cblgr,

Yes, it could take 19 months or longer to process your application; however, that is the worst case scenario. Some forum members have gotten through in 5 or 6 months. KG claims to process in order of receipt but I don't believe that's true.

I hope you are one of the lucky ones that gets through quickly.

Good luck!

You can look at the spreadsheet under Chickie's ticker to see the processing timelines for the KG thread.

Hello @cblgr, we have the same sponsor approval date, March 28th. Although my file is at the Port of Spain Office in Trinidad, both offices have a 19 month processing time. I think no one wants to believe they will take the full 19 months and if you look at the stats, most people don't. Thankfully. This thread is pretty active and savvy about that office so the senior members will provide lots of good info. It does seem to me, just by reading the posts that there has been more movement in Kingston since they opened the other 2 admin. offices in May. My humble opinion only. Blessings for your journey :D!

Happy Hump Day Everyone!!! Come on Kingston Good NEws for everyone! ;D

Has anyone applied for your notes via mail? I keep trying to apply online and get an "internal error" message...

Thanks Nevaeha,

I think you are right. Looking at the spreadsheet more people get through in less than 19 months than not! The fact that people are still getting PPR's and replies to emails also makes me believe that they aren't on strike. so maybe when my MP called they just gave them the brush off and standard response.

Good luck to you too!

Thanks girl ! I have finally officially joined you guys :-* I don't know what i'd do without all the help you all have given me !! I really hope I did everything properly? How long does it usually take to get any correspondence from them ? when do I get to check E-Cas ? And 1 more thing I paid by visa online and printed my receipt it didn't give me the option to type my name and info on it so I just wrote it in pen is that ok ? I sent them 2 copies 1 with writing on it 1 without !
