OKKKK on that note i am now down off my high horse. However Positive Patty is in the building and i will keep on riding only riding side saddle at a slow pace. Thank you for being direct with me i appreciate that approach, I would hate to be here waiting and anticipating only to have weeks and months past with nothing improving.

I remember when I got my first email back from Kingston in November saying your application is in process......man I was soooo happy thinking that my application was in process but it truly wasn't ......every week went by with no word and me getting drunk every Friday when I didn't hear nothing! .......my application finally went into process in March 19, 2013, I see from my notes that they starting working on my application in January so when they told me it was in process in November it wasn't ......another member last year never seen her ECAS go into process until 1 week before her hubby got the call from Kingston to bring in his passport......I just want you to see there are alot of inconsistencies with Kingston..........We never know what they are going to do and they throw lots of curve balls LOL. (ok sorry I was a debbie downer......i will go sit in the corner for my time out now )

Ok finally done reading all 50 plus pages I missed while I was gone

Chickie - not sure if you are still going to JA or not but I just used my TD bank card down there no problem. There was a 5.00 charge....used it at Scotia. They won't work at the CIBC down here. Tried a couple different ATM's.

Congrats to everyone who did get some news from Kingston. I passed the Canadian Embassy a few times and believe me I wanted to go in there and say " WHAT THE HELL IS THE HOLD UP" for a few of you waiting a long time.

Thank you for letting me know.......now I can prove to my hubby that i am not wrong! Like i'm ever wrong, seriously now come on!

Still nothing. Haven't heard anything from the officer regarding my husbands passport. Still waiting, still frustrated and confused. If I don't see any change by Thursday evening. I'm calling her butt bright and early on Friday

i hope your hubby get his passport very soon....im here still waiting for ppr or interview date still

i'm trying to not think about it too much but it sucks when you think you're at the end, they have your passport, they have the shipping label, they have all the information and they sit there and not even say to themselves, let me get it out of the way and give these people what they need. I bet you next she's gonna say he needs to redo the medical. With our luck i see the hold up being longer.

just pray to god sis so they can free up his passport....dont let them get the best of you

Hey there, sorry to hear that nothing has happened for you yet......that is just crazy that it is sooo long....ARC is only supposed to take approx 2 months from the info I was reading.....your 2 months was up a long long time ago!

we turned left off the main road in Santa Cruz - if coming from Kingston....I can't remember what was at the corner....then we went down the road maybe 2-3mins.

Hey there, I did my taxes with my hubby on there for the first time....not sure if it will go through but I claimed him as a dependent.....sent in supporting documentation that I support him in JA . You have to include him on your taxes and put his income on if he has one....

Question is hubby in Canada with you? My hubby filed as a married person, however I am not in Canada so he gets no benefits for being married unless I am with him there,
