Highlyfavoured....Thanks for the encouragement hon! our case have almost the same timeline- it sure helps! to see someone in the same boat as me so we can keep each other spirits high. You ladies on this forum are great! very encouraging, I think because we all share one common goal and that is to get our loves ones here.

Homesoon that was really great.... Thanks for sharing that I love these success stories, it really gives me hope, my case is only in the 5th month. so I don't think its time to start panicking yet.. because the receive application December 29, 2009.

It shows online that it started processing January 13, 2010. I thought that was quick considering the Christmas holidays and all, I submitted everything with my file, but they called on February 6, to request our Original MC, and my husband/son BC.. Nothing since then, If they were keeping me informed as they do with you Homesoon". I would not have any doubts right now... no update since then.. all I can see is in process

I am hoping that ours will be on in that 30% timeline and a success story don't see why it wouldn't be anyway..
I will keep you guys posted.. but as I say You never know these people are so unpredictable I wish everyone all the best. Hope You Guys Have a Great Week! Fingers cross for some good news

3 months and 10 days since KG has had our file. I pray that everyone going through the process has and experiences the same favour of God that we have be blessed with.

Husbands are meant to be with their wives (and visa versa), it is God's good and perfect will. ;D

HF... YAY! so happy for you... time to start looking for flights... i think it was a day or two under two weeks that we got the call to pick up passport, so your hubby should see canada before the month of june awesome awesome awesome!!! when i read the story of how you guys met, i kept thinking, if i was your IO you'd be thru already! everyone would if i had my way, but your story was especially touching to my overly emotional self...

thanks everyone for the welcome... weather has been cold, luckily the kids winter coats weren't packed away in storage, just down the road at my aunties, so everyone but the baby has their winter gear... went and bought him some warm clothes which will have to do until this cold spell breaks... luckily we believe in heat here (unlike london where my hubby lived... inside was almost as cold as outside... only difference was that it didn't rain inside... much )

i'll be back.. need to feed my jk'er, he only goes to school every other day here, hopefully it won't deter him too much from him genius paths (he was going to be named outstanding boy at the school in jamaica had he stayed... he got the highest grades in his exams (yes they have exams at the 4-5yr old level... crazy eh?)

hopefully we'll hear more good news this week!!!! great start!

i am confused now .
when i was asking all those questions last year i never really took note because i never thought i would be on this journey.
now that iam it is a completely different feeling.

so here goes .i understand the medical part,but now the questions.

after the application is sent off to kg-whether they send me a letter or not- ,is it 7 months to the day that they recieve it that i can start looking forward to this process ending?
there should not be any hiccups, no children involved

so i should be expecting him roughly about october if all goes well?
