This is the day hubby gets his passport in his hand...will let everyone know when we cross that milestone.

I think I need to get some work done today, I'm taking next week off to properly "WELCOME" my baby to Canada and I'm taking him to beautiful Whistler, BC for three days. I can't wait

Ah sweet sweet Jamaica...Santa Cruz the hot hot city, that's where my father's family lives...you guys look so happy...the great thing about marrying a Jamaican is that you know you will always go back, and what a beautiful place it is with culture so rich. If my hubby wasn't coming soon these pictures would have me booking a flight.

Santa Cruz is hot like 10 fire sides....but one thing though.....it very nice here for a little small town.....yes jamaica have a very rich culture for sure but we as jamaican take it for granted most of the time...i still love this place called Jamaica

Waiting patiently for some news, haven't heard sh*t from Kingston though, emailed them twice, no response, I ordered my notes again last Friday so we shall see in a month again what's happening. Still haven't paid my RPF fee yet....slowly working on coming up with the money but money tight tight tight I wanna get that paid so I don't have anymore delays then needed. It seems people are waiting about 2 months after the RPF request before Kingston looks at their file again and I can't waste those two months....dying to see my hubby! Hope you hear something about your interview soon.

Hubby and I paid the RPRF when we submitted our application. Part of the email we received from Kingston in February requested us to pay the fee because it was outstanding. Our GCMS notes indicated it was outstanding as well so I faxed Mississagua the official receipt I sent a year ago and emailed it to Kingston. :

I'm thinking of just sending my PP on to Kingston even though they didn't get to speak with me yet. I know that the call we missed was probably related to the PPR.

We sent emails, faxes and tried calling but still no response.

Should I take the chance? What are your thoughts?

This is all just so frustrating :'(.

I agree with Maddants, I think you should wait until Kingston contacts you again. You never know, today may be the day they call, email, or send you a letter!

We can all give you our advice, but in the end, you have to follow your gut/heart and do what you feel is right for your application/process. Good luck!

i have been super busy planning this reuion and everthing else work etc..... i wish the day had more than 24 hrs cause i cant get all i have to do done within that time frame

Put it this way.....if they are done with your file and ready to ask you to bring in your passport, but you haven't paid the RPF yet then they are going to ask you to pay that first. THey will put a bring forward date of say approximately one month time on your file and even if you pay it the next day, they won't look at your file again until the bring forward date so yes I would say it adds extra time.....look at the spreadsheet there are a couple of people that were asked to pay the RPF in Dec and Feb and until now they still haven't heard anything from Kingston.
