Oh my!! Congrats to everyone with updates! That is such great news. Kingston is doing so great! I am happy for everyone who will be with their loved ones in Canada very soon!

I have a question... I got Stage one sponsorship approval in early November, and they have apparently sent the application off to Kingston. I know that most people don't recieve Stage 2 AOR from Kingston, so how should I contact Kingston to ask if they have recieved the app? Is there an email that anyone has used that they would suggest? or should I phone them? I will wait the 6 weeks from the time they sent it, but I want to be prepared to ask after Christmas because I have hear the horror stories of the application never actually getting sent off to Kingston. I have a feelign everything is going to go perfectly smoothly with our application, and everything is going to get done in a timely manner... but better check in on them, just in case! haha

Hey Longdistanceloves......your application will get to kingston...these ppl rarely mess up on these things so dont worry....im not saying that they are perfect but they will get your hubby to you soon....it just a waiting game with the kingston office......they are very slow at the office here in kingston but they are reuniting families slowly but surely....the thing my wife did was called the cic office and ask them about your application and they told her when they send it off to the kingston office......plus she email the kingston office and they just told her that the application is pending initial review and they will contact the sponsor of the decision or any information they required....that is what most of the ppl here got that same email from them.....i hope that help you out a bit..one more thing if you call the kingston office you will not talk to anyone there..they dont take phone from anyone looking for information..that is just how they are

I don't think u need to call them...ur ecas will tell u when kgn starts to process it.....cic had sent mine in nov 2011 and kgn started to process it in february

Hey there sis......how are you doing today...the medical receive dont mean that the interview will be waived at all...I think that the medical receive is just a tip of the ice burg to show that the person dont have any kind of sickness that can be contagious to ppl in canada and to make sure that the person is physically fit to work and pay tax in canada..lol.......for immigration to ask for a interview from a spouse, they would have to see some red flag showing that the relationship is not genuine at all...or they just have a few question to ask about the relationship....that is what i think i may be wrong but that my little opinion on that.....yes i think it is stupid like what you said about putting the file back into another queue for someone else to look at again...but we cant past anything about them at all

My goodness, they should change their website then, it's very misleading! I have a feeling talking to an MP would be useless?
