It's not standard practice. You can email them and ask them if they have received your application, and they most times answer. However, regularly they do not use email to communicate an actual Acknowledgement of Receipt. The last one I heard of was received by post, as is their preferred method.

CPC-M has begun acknowledging receiving people's applications before giving sponsor approval. Again, this is not a standard practice, it seems to be hit or miss.

I thought I saw where people on here received an email from KGN as an AOR..

I received and email from KG as an AOR but it was after I inquired. I heard nothing for 3 months and decided to email them and found out that they have it.

I hope you don't mind me asking which province in Canada are you in? I'm in Toronto but I wondering if applications in other provinces have a quicker turn around time.

yeah you have to be careful not to get to depressed....people who filed 1 month after me are on the plane to Canada and I am still waiting for an AOR from my VO.....well the ND VO is fast fast...so I try to remember that and my VO is slow slow...so I try and remember and stay positive but sometimes it is not easy.......oh well.....I knew it was a long haul but I truly did not think it would bother me this much....its like having a baby.....they tell you the pain is bad but until you give birth you have no idea

i had to see what the hype was about i went out and bough all three books at chapters (45dollars)
well worth it i must say i am half way through the first book and cant put it down ever spare moment i get i am reading (which is really cutting into my olympic time) trying to finish book by end of tomorow so i can be ready for track and field friday ....GO TEAM JA
