As far as I understand, they start once your file is complete, which is when they officially get biometrics. In the case of India, it's a processing time of 52 days, which is better than Brazil (71 days now).
Basically the end of August (21 days in July and 31 days in August).

I also applied from Brazil. Do you have any updates?
My biometrics were stored on June 22nd. No update yet

Brazil is at 74 days now. It gets worse every week. It was 69 a few weeks ago.

Received and processing at delhi office since 16th August

@PreAmm : Same case with me, applied for my minor son. First application refused on 5th July applied second time on 8th july. Still waiting

Mine they did not updated anything it is just in progress from 23 June .

Reason for refusal, Strong ties to Canada. I had mentioned that I will apply for his PR once he is in Canada.
