June 2024 Visitor Visa/TRV

Nope. Does anybody have personal contact at IRCC Delhi who can tell us what is going on currently about processing visa application in India. Are they really processing application or process is on hold for some reason?

I am very disgusted with IRCC system and the process.
My wife applied for her tourist visa Jan.31 2024 and next day did her bio-metrics (FEB. 1st 2024 which were submitted and confirmed next day (FEB 2nd 2024) , on the IRCC Portal it showed 45 days to process , so we waited 45 days and checked the IRCC portal and the processing time changed to 120 days, so we waited 120 days and again that changed to 145 days, we have been waiting 7 months and still nothing.. it was stated that we wanted to travel on June 26th 2024 and all necessary documents were submitted and more.
I am Born Canadian moved to the country I am living in since 2007, our daughter is first generation Canadian and I also received my citizenship in the country I am living in 2015 so have dual and daughter has dual, I have not visited Canada since moving to this country (2007).
I know IRCC is an independent government body and no one can alter or interfere with ant decision but it makes me sick to my stomach that it is taking so long to get a simple tourist visa, I have tried contacted several FMP members and PM members and our Embassy and no one wants to at least check out why it is taking so long. FMP and PM state that I am no longer a constituent so they can not help this is nonsense I am still a Canadian born and raised and worked over 20 years in Canada, I have 13 siblings and 31 nieces and nephews , one son and 2 grandchildren...so this is complete nonsense. Embassy will not do nothing.

I Have applied for my minor on 23 June so waiting for that .
