Attempted to call a few times, each time after listening to 5 minutes worth of options, the voice said that it was unable to transfer me to anyone and to try again later. However, a few days ago, we got the letter requesting biometrics and the medical evaluation, so the application is officially processing!

Same. I submitted the webform and they replied in the email that the application has been sent to Delhi. Applied on June 27.

My friend got Medical request and done on 29th but are still waiting for BIL? Sponsor eligibility passed on 7th Nov but no BIL as of yet, is it normal?

Hi Everyone,

I applied on June 30.
Done

1. Biometrics
2. Medical
3. Prearrival 1
4. Prearrival 2

In october i got ADR for resume and submitted it

My background check status changed from "we are processing your background check" to "your application in progress. we will send you a message when we start your background check"? What does this mean? Any idea why they stopped my background check?

I called IRCC and they said

• infor sharing is complete
• criminality and security did not start,

No real updates since. Same update as yours with background check status changing to “we will send you a message when we start”.
I spoke to them before the resume request and, back then, I was told all stages passed except security. After the resume request criminality reverted to “not started”.

Final decision received yesterday and the tracker updated today. Application has finally been approved but we’re still waiting for PPR
