Hello,

What is the timeline to process Family spousal sponsorship.

I - the sponsor has a PR and am in Canada right now.
Wife is an Indian citizen. - planning to submit her file next month.
Would appreciate an in-depth timeline and explanation.

Congratulations
what is the status of your background check before you got the final decision and has it changed now?
It remained the same until today when I checked. Now it says “we are processing”

From current timeline, After submitting application it will take approx 6 months to get COPR and stamped passport in hand. (Please note, if there isn't any query from IRCC)

Attempted to call a few times, each time after listening to 5 minutes worth of options, the voice said that it was unable to transfer me to anyone and to try again later. However, a few days ago, we got the letter requesting biometrics and the medical evaluation, so the application is officially processing!
My spouse did his biometrics and medical exam around the end of October. On Dec 2 we received the letter asking him to submit a package with that letter, a photocopy of the passport, and two photos. So it looks like we're almost there.

He's actually in Canada with me right now, so we're waiting for instructions on how they want us to proceed, since I guess he doesn't need to mail that stuff to a VAC.
