If we chose E-Cert during application submission and are now called for In-Person Ceremony, do we still get e-cert or paper?

Irrespective of what you select, they usually provide by default:
a. Paper certificates during in-person ceremonies.
b. e-Certificate during virtual ceremonies.

During your ceremony you can request to change it, and mostly they accept and sometimes they do not.

I am taking day off from work, can I possibly apply for the passport on the same day?

Our in person Oath is on Friday the 13th. We will apply for an urgent passport on Monday, and we have a flight back to the USA on the 21st.

In case of Paper certificate you need to wait for 2 business days for it to be available in there system to apply for passport.
Check with the oath officer once if this is still the case.

Hi Guys, Just received my GCMS notes this morning and here is my status.
AOR July 2
Exam done Aug 16th.
No updates after.

When I looked at the Eligibility in the notes for all of the LPP it says:
Status: Not Started
Status Date: 2024/07/02
Due Date: 2025/06/27
Assigned to: RC- some number was given

What does this mean? Will I not get any update and do I have to wait until June next year for the completion of just the LPP?

Can you please guide me what all do I need to look into the notes?

Irrespective of what i enjoy, trying to understand the process. The timeline to complete the process is 7 months. Worst case that means by February my processing must be completed, how come they can extend it till July 2025?

Also, how do you know you are waiting for Security clearance?

I came to know after received CBSA notes and I called ircc asper notes and call agent told me everything cleared only Security Screening in progress I’m AOR 7 June 2024. Join WhatsApp group there to many people waiting like me

Is that something different from GCMS notes? I see you mentioned 2 different kind of notes. Can you please educate me?
