The interview is mostly for ID, passport verification and/or travel history related questions in case you have extensive travel or some travel history missing in CBSA. Occasionally, the officer might have some other queries related to the application and get it cleared. Usually the LPP gets completed the same day if all is well.
Hi Guys, I received an email from IRCC on Aug. 28th to do fingerprint, I did it next day, Aug 29th, Today morning I checked IRCC trucking system updated with "We sent you a letter or email with instructions to submit your fingerprints." Later, I received an email from them to do a fingerprint again, Please advise what I have to do?

Aug 14, 2024 (Updated on Aug 16)- Activity status updated: Citizenship test status has been updated to In progress.
Aug 20, 2024- Test Invite (From Surrey, BC office)
Aug 22, 2024(Updated on Aug 16)- Scheduled for citizenship test. You've been scheduled to take citizenship test online between August 22, 2024 and September 21, 2024. Information and instructions will be sent to you.
Aug 28, 2024- Took Online test and passed with 20/20 score. (Not yet marked Complete in tracker)
Last Updated- August 16, 2024
Called IRCC on Sept 3, 2024 and the agent said no updates and file is being processed at Vancouver office.
It looks like my application is non-routine…What are your thoughts? Usually BG gets marked complete before test start!

Hello, Do not worry it will be completed in one or two days because of the long weekend. In my case I passed the test and completed on tracker on Aug 14 with everything else in progress. I got fingerprint request today. So, completion of process is individual based.

My Language and Prohibitions updated to complete today. Physical Presence still in progress. Anyone else had this happen? Usually LPP all get completed at once right?

Not always. I have seen people in previous months sheets have one or two complete first. Some had prohibitions pending. If you have traveled often, Physical presence will take more time to complete. Even if you haven't, the officer may have their own way of processing file
Thank you ! I was finally able to login in to check my application status. Was struggling to login in for few days . Anyway I see my test was marked completed on Aug 26.Should I have received a an email notification or an update kinda thing ? Anyways background and citizenship is completed. Everything else still in progress .
