Thanks for your reply. Great, unfortunately I cannot cancel my travel. I emailed them and they cancelled the oath for both of us, unfortunately, and marked us as unavailable (in their database) until the 27th though only one person is traveling. They mentioned we will automatically receive the new date a week before the ceremony but cannot give any dates as on today. Hopefully this doesn't delay much ✌.
good luck.

LPP will happen next. Depending on office and officer , it can take 2 more months - after that oath letter comes relatively soon. I have seen some lucky ones get lpp done 10 days after Test complete . Quite a few get it in a month with many getting it in 2 months.

Just received my Oath ceremony invitation via Zoom scheduled for 9/17/24. LPP hasn't been marked as completed in the tracker, but I'm assuming that it's just delayed.

Actually shocked that the entire process took under 2 months.

Did you get oath letter or was it updated in tracker? I think your lpp is done . They won't invite for oath unless all previous steps are complete. I'll let others correct me. Congrats. Your test was marked complete same business day which gives impression that your officer is very quick . Some people waited week or ten days to see test complete. Yea, these days it's relatively fast except for some offices. Even the slow offices are much better compared to the previous years timelines. Used to take 12 months average. Now it seems slow offices take 7 months

I received an email about an hour ago and checked the online tracker. Last activity was Aug 28th (technically 26th) when my test was marked complete. I'm assuming it'll update tomorrow or Saturday.

My processing office was Scarborough for what it's worth. I guess my application was pretty unremarkable since I'm single, have the maximum number of physical presence days, completed tax returns, etc. I was fearing an interview and the works since I'm self-employed (though I know it's nothing to fear). This has been such a ridiculously smooth process from start to finish.

Thanks for clarification. I kept both decision made and letter date as today in sheet. Makes sense. If you haven't traveled much , they don't really need to calculate about the physical presence. Yea , it is well defined and goes in stages so it gives clarity. Unlike some countries immigration where the candidate has no clue where his application stands. And all the long questions . It's much simpler in Canada. Aug 26 to Sep 05 is not even 9 business days. Plus there was a holiday on Monday so it's like 6 business days for lpp to complete and oath immediately. Many folks see a wait(short) to get oath.

Am trying reach out to IRCC heldesk from last couple of days, each time they say they are experiencing high call volume and cant transfer the call, is there any trick to reach them?

Call first thing when they open. You're screwed at any other time.

I completed my citizenship test on Aug 24 but haven't had any updates since then. Unofficial result for the test is 18/20 I passed.
Is it weird that it's taking this this long ?

Usually it updates in a week so it is a bit long. Sone people do see a delay due to slow office or officer. But you might see it very soon by Monday so don't worry too much.
