I wouldn't personally send documents for the sake of it. Afterall, they will not review the documents until someone looks at your application.Looks like there have been fewer updates for the past week. My language , prohibition was done sep 13, 10 days after test complete so pretty quick. But physical presence is still stuck . Will think about submitting form and sending passport scans and i94 history. Anyone done it pre emptively? Has it helped
True. But the counter argument is - sending files will make them take a look. Someone had sent pro actively and ircc replied- we never asked you to. Haha. While another said the file moved after sending. One person got passport scan request one month after language and prohibitions were done and wondered if they shpuld have sent earlier. So it all depends. We have to judge based on how much time has passed. May or May not workI wouldn't personally send documents for the sake of it. Thanks for explaining in detail. I hope your file moves soon. I'm going to stay put for now and not do anything.Agreed. My only concern would be who will take a look? If you are next in line to be reviewed and the office see's you have submitted additional documents, then, this might delay your process even more whilst they are being reviewed?
My LPP is currently at "Not started" for over 4 months now, I submitted a correction to my travel history a few weeks ago, to this day, web form has been reviewed and no action has been taken. My file has not been updated, no documents reviewed and no status changes.
I had a lot of US travel mainly via car weekend trips atleast 6-7 in 2021, 4-5 in 2022 and then 1 in 2023 and a couple in 2024, but mine got updated last week, so just hang in there. Still waiting for Citizenship Ceremony updateThanks for explaining in detail. I hope your file moves soon. I'm going to stay put for now and not do anything.
Same boat! LPP all completed on the same day as you (Sept 24) and yet nothing. Our changes were accepted. We were rescheduled for 10/02 and it was switched to zoom. Oath ceremony done yesterdayHello @hssrp, my oath ceremony has been cancelled as I will be travelling. They will schedule it once I am back on the 28th and give a date. Not sure if you want to update the tracker.
One additional question - regrding the Guarantor, I understand that person should know me for 2 years minimum but if someone recenly got citizenship and passport can they be a Guarantor or passport should be min 2 years old too? Just confirming because my guarantor is confused too. TIA.
That was really quick, congratulations!!Our changes were accepted. We were rescheduled for 10/02 and it was switched to zoom. Oath ceremony done yesterday
