Thank you ;)
The person who took my fp told me it takes a minimum of 3 weeks for the status to be updated after fp submission. And he gave me a telwphone number which will require your d/n number on your fingerprint sheet to check if your information has been processed by rcmp and sent to ircc

Got a weird update today:
Everything turned green last week and I am scehduled for the Oath on the 20th and Oath is marked as in progress since last week.
This morning It says updated 12 September and everything was marked again as a ‘new update’ completed (except Oath still in progress) but still marked as of last week. Is this normal?

Yes thats normal. Many have seen ghost updates after Oath scheduled so you can ignore it.

Hello,

My offie is Sydney. Can anyone know if this office is slow or fast at processing?
Did you receive your test invite?
I guess Sydney is the office where all applications are initially submitted for review and then they are distributed across the processing offices in Canada.
Usually you can guess which your visa office is only after you have your test invite or you call IRCC.
For example- My AOR was from Sydney office and test came from SRY (Surrey) office but my application is being processed at Vancouver office.

Hello @hssrp, my oath ceremony has been cancelled as I will be travelling. They will schedule it once I am back on the 28th and give a date. Not sure if you want to update the tracker.

One additional question - regrding the Guarantor, I understand that person should know me for 2 years minimum but if someone recenly got citizenship and passport can they be a Guarantor or passport should be min 2 years old too? Just confirming because my guarantor is confused too. TIA.

Updated the tracker. Please let me know once you get a new date when you are back.

Regarding guarantor, the only 2 requirements are he should know you for more than 2 years and he should be a Canadian Citizen having a valid passport. Even if he/she got the passport 2 minutes back, he is eligible to be your guarantor :) hope this helps!

I got a letter from Vancouver requesting all the pages of the passports during last 5 years. Is this normal?

I renewed it inside the 5 years. What happens if i don’t have the old one? I’ll look around.

Big thanks ;)

Yes, it is normal. Couple of May applicants got it last week as well (including myself).

You need to provide copies of ALL passports and ALL pages of the passports held within the 5 year eligibility period. If everything checks out your Physical Presence will be marked as completed within 2 business days.

So please go and find your old passport!

Awesome, thank you. And I can be a guarantor for my spouse once I get my Passport, right? Just making sure.
