We've moved recently and I have already sent a webform requesting for our new address to be updated.
If I remember correctly, someone on the forum had said that the official at the oath ceremony asks us to confirm our mailing address - is that right? Because I'm paranoid about the citizenship certificate being mailed to our previous address.
Yes, before the ceremony, you will be checked in by an agent who will confirm your address, at which time you will give your new one. You can also include your new address in the email you send right after the ceremony with your signed oath form. I have heard that it usually takes a long time for webforms to be processed, including taking some months before someone processes your address change, so they probably will have your old address on file and you will just have to give them the new one during check-in.
