I haven't even gotten DM yet! My friend applied for citizenship in Dec 2021, got AOR in Jan 2022 and got his citizenship certificate in mail today. He had an update every month.

I am getting update from my MP that, my file is waiting for security clearance. I don't know what is meaning of it. does anyone have idea? what this means? I am still waiting for TEST, I got AOR in Nov'20 and Appliction process start on Dec'20. Almost 22 months still waiting for TEST.

Also last time when I request GCMS note, status was "June 2020 inventory self" at Mississauga office

Wow, nice. Good for your friend. It's been nine months since the test for me. And there's been no update.

nine months? that's insane. I am hoping for improvements with the excessive delay especially with everything opening up now. I did my test nov 12th, was hoping to get this all done before the end of the year so I can travel. I fear I may have to push that back with all the uncertainties.

My background verification has gone back to In Progress after being Completed last year in June. ECAS also switched back to In Process. Any clues on what is going on?

My background verification was completed last year in June and then I got test invite in October. After the test most of the things moved to completed except for the oath. Recently my bg has moved back to in progress.

I am exactly on the same boat. Same timeline, same office and same comments from my MP. I applied for ATIP 45 days ago and no update yet.

My background verification was completed last year in June and then I got test invite in October. After the test most of the things moved to completed except for the oath. Recently my bg has moved back to in progress.

Now that is strange. But I hope that is a sign of things that it's moving in a positive outcome for you soon.

My oath is on 2nd May. I need to get a rush passport too. What do you mean you drove to collect the citizenship certificate? How does that work?
