Hi! Thanks for the answers.
My spouse is in India. She has no valid status in canada. She gave biometric and medical when we applied for her work permit in march 2020 and it was rejected for lack of marriage proof reason. Then we applied for PR in June and now waiting for it. I gave bio in Nov for PR.
Ah okay. I hope you resolved the issue this time by providing relevant documents?

I am also inland with outland dependent. Although I applied in August.

I just ordered another GCMS notes..
got one in Nov 2020 with infos made in Oct2020.
I know it will take longer than a month to get the GCMS notes
so I just did this to stimulate IRCC to process my application right.
lol... no official update since Aug on medical exam..

this frustration is way ridiculous
Hope to get PR before new GCMS notes come in..

IRCC never replies my web forms at all...

Hi @legalfalcon ,

Few questions for you as I received my GCMS Note which I did request on Dec 21st, 2020;

As I see under admissibilities;

Security : 2
Type: Security
Status: Not Started
Status Updated Date: 2021/07/21 SAME AS MY MEDICAL COMPLETION DATE
Due Date: 2021/07/21 (it is an year from my medical completed / accepted date) Is it usual ?

After few pages when it comes to INFO SHARING;

Type: Biometric- FCC
Partner: USA
Status: NRT (what does NRT mean ?? )
Validity Date: 2021/01/24 (Which is coming soon and what's this date indicates? )
Status Updated Date: 2020/10/26 (which is my Biometric date)

And my PRESENT STATUS AS PER AN IRCC AGENT IS SECURITY IS NOT YET INITIATED
DOES THAT MEAN IT MAY TAKE AGAIN 3-5 MONTHS ONCE THEY INITIATE THE SECURITY WHICH WILL EXTEND MY WHOLE APPLICATION TO ALMOST 1 YR FROM MY AOR

Hi! maybe someone has a bit more info about this:

I've read (many times) that once your application is approved, you are requiered to send 2 pictures, passport and a coppy of the letter that IRCC sent you via email.

I got the letter, but according to the instructions I received, I need to send only ONE picture and a coppy of the letter to the Etobicoke office. No passport, not even a copy.
I am from a country that is visa exempted.

Have anybody heard of this instructions before?

Thanks
I was asked to send only one photo with copr as well. Got my PR card in Dec. Just follow the instructions.

NRT means "no reportable trace," i.e. there is no record of any criminal activity or anything else.

The validity date here refers to how long the info sharing data is valid for. As in the accuracy of it.

Usually security screening takes 110 days for an average application. It can be done earlier too, which is very common. Currently due to processing delays, many application have security not initiated.

Also, the average processing time for an application preCOVID in 2019 was 9 months. Post COVID it will significantly go up.

To read on security screening, how it is initiated, how long it takes and what is done, see https://bit.ly/3sFn5ut

I was advised to include my common law partner (with a LoE explaining the situation) despite the fact she is a Canadian citizen. She just moved back to Canada however. Do I need to raise a webform to let them know this?
Is anyone able to help me with my unusual situation here? @legalfalcon ? Losing sleep that I'm going to screw up my application.
