Hi,
yes, if your ECAS shows 'complete' you can apply for the passports on Monday.
Do you know if we can apply for urgent/express processing?

I'm having my ceremony on April 12, but we're leaving the country on a pre-planned trip on April 23. I told the immigration officer about this during my interview and he said he would note it down so I can do the ceremony when we get back but I got this date instead a few weeks later.

Hello dear,
Me and family attended citizenship oath ceremony on 22March, and today I checked my E-cas and ecas changed to “complete”.
It’s mean we are all set, can I apply our passports on Monday or still wait for two business days.
hi, congratulations!!
they asked to bring lots of documents including passports etc. did they check passports?
also, for passport application, we need guarantor and references. do they all have to be canadian citizens?
thanks

Hi everyone. June 2018 applicant here. I passed my test on December 3, 2018 and got DM on December 8, 2018. I am still waiting for my Oath Letter. That is 107 days as of today which is considerable higher than the averages on the spreadsheets (depending on the month 30-60ish days in Montreal). Is anybody else in Montreal still waiting for the Oath Letter? Any suggestions?

Hi, I applied for citizenship along with dependents.

Application received by CIC May 3, 2018
Study material sent on July 9 2018
Started processing application on July 30, 2018
Test notice on Jan 7, 2019
Test & interview on Jan 23, 2019 in Scarborough, ON and informed we are qualified and expect the oath ceremony notification.

Haven't received the oath ceremony notification yet. Anybody with similar time lines?

Hi,
yes, you can request urgent passport pick-up (end of the next business day) the cost of it is CAN $110 each plus CAN$ 160 regular fee for a 10-year passport.

Hello, does anybody know if the test has questions specific to each province's government? Like MPs, premier, parties in power/opposition, that sort of thing? I'm in Vancouver by the way.

Any help is very much appreciated!

Unfortunately it is illegal to talk about the exam questions.. My advise is to just review what's in the booklet and/or do the practice test.

Good luck! :)

I applied my passport on Dec 20/18 and was able to pick it up on Dec 28/18. Considering there were holiday on Dec 24, 25 and 26, that means they processed my passport application in just 4 days. I paid for express processing (not urgent) at that time ($50 extra instead of $100). They didn't call my references nor guarantor at all. So with your timeline, you should be okay to get your passport before your trip.

My tip for you: If you apply for express (not urgent), you could come and get your passport a day early. It's worth to give it a try. That's what I did and they were okay to return my passport early (as long as my passport was already printed)

Same for Toronto area. I had my test in early January at Scarborough but haven't heard back regarding the Oath Ceremony.
