Hi everyone,

I am one of the people who is able to update the sheet (I thought there were more but I don't see anyone else).
I had my oath this past Friday, March 8. While I had been waiting for this for a long time, I had a death in my family the week before that, so everything is bitter sweet at the moment. I have taken a time away from internet/social media as I go through this hard time, so I apologize for not updating the sheet. I will not be able to do so for a bit, so hopefully the other admins can step in and do the updates.

I wish everyone the best of luck in their processes- rest assured, even if it takes a while, you will get there! See you in a bit

I applied my passport on Dec 20/18 and was able to pick it up on Dec 28/18. Considering there were holiday on Dec 24, 25 and 26, that means they processed my passport application in just 4 days. I paid for express processing (not urgent) at that time ($50 extra instead of $100). They didn't call my references nor guarantor at all. So with your timeline, you should be okay to get your passport before your trip.

My tip for you: If you apply for express (not urgent), you could come and get your passport a day early. It's worth to give it a try. That's what I did and they were okay to return my passport early (as long as my passport was already printed)

Oooh, that's good to know. Though I think I might still apply for urgent though.. I'll probably get their opinion on it since I technically will still have a week for them to be able to process the passport.. As you said, could be enough time. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi everyone..
i have a question n i hope that someone could help.
So looking at the oath ceremonies from the official website, I don’t see any ceremonies for Ottawa after April 12th till end of May NOTHING.. while other areas already have been updated with different dates for the second half of April n May..
Could Ottawa really not have any ceremonies from the 12th of April till end of May?? Or could it just be not updated?But all other areas have been.. according to the website all dates r updated byweekly.

Oath Letter received 3/29/19 via email for Oath Ceremony on April 18, 2019.

Unfortunately I need to postpone as I'll be out of the country. Anybody else postpone? If so can you describe the process? I sent an email as instructed and received an automated acknowledgement of receipt. Will I hear from someone that my postponement request was granted? Or simply get a new Notice to Appear letter? Thanks.

in the passport application, where you had to put in addresses for past 2 years...when you added your current address, what did you enter into "to month and year" section? it doesn't let us write current. it doesnt let us add future date either.

Guys I am from Toronto and I am gonna shoot myself...

Story over...there is nothing else...its like more than 7 months...nothing! Maybe my application suddenly had some redbull spilled on it and grew wings and flew away...how would i know!
