Hi guys!

Congratulations to all the June 2014 applicants that have finally completed. It must be a huge relief. :-)

I have a question regarding the COPR. My partner and I are applying for his visa through the Sydney office.

On the 22nd of July we received the COPR paperwork that we needed to send through the 2 photos, updated information chart, make the final payment, etc. They received it on the 2nd February (so it's been 2 weeks now).

What is the next step? Every application seems to be different as we have not been requested to go in for an interview, we did not need to submit an actual passport (just copies of every page of the passport). My biggest worry is the paperwork said not to book flights or make any plans, but our deadline to be in Canada is the 30th April (due to the medical expiry date) which is really quickly approaching.

Are we supposed to receive something for his passport now? Any idea how long that takes? We have an entire house of stuff to sell off and move out of so the "don't make plans" note is kind of making me panic. :-X

Thanks guys! :)

I am kinda in the same boat as you got but i got pp request and To pay the RPRF. I already payed online and sent in pp and my husbands dead line to be in canada is april 10 2015 i read that CPC might take 4 too 8 weeks to confirm the payment to VO.. So worried it might pass the april 10 Mark :(

JUNE 2014 OUTLAND Spousal applicants {LVO}

Hi there
I was wandering if anyone has recently heard from LVO. I am a British Citizen married to a Canadian Citizen, SA approved since August 8th 2014, and ever since then, I have been waiting to be contacted by LVO. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? I am getting anxious. Your views etc will be appreciated

He is visa exempt that's why they have just asked for a copy of his passport . Thats a quick exit . It a depends on what chances you are willing to take . They say not to book fights etc just incase the corp takes a bit longer to arrive or not arrive on time at all from what i have read in the forums .

Its not like you have a few hours flight where you can come land then go back on sell off your home .I have no real answers for you .

That's OK, I appreciate the response! We've kinda just dared to take the risk and hope it's all OK. We've booked our flights for the 27th April to land there 28th April (2 days before the deadline). Fingers crossed it all goes well then!

It's comforting to hear someone's in the (kind of) same boat! I did my last payment at the beginning of January just to get that out of the way. With a deadline so close it's hard not to be unsettled and restless!! I get that processing times can take a while, it just seems kind of unreasonable to give people such short deadlines with something as major as moving overseas. :-(

My application was also transferred to London when I received SA on 20/08/2014. Not heard anything either, no requests for further information or anything. This waiting is hell!

Hi Guys
Only God knows how long we have to wait. It can be frustrating.

Great,I got my passport back with visa stamped...Time to prepar "le Voyage" :D :D ;) ;). Good luck to everyone in here.

Reordered some GCMS notes again yesterday, so will find out in a month If they've done anything since I last ordered notes in December. Not expecting anything but would be nice if there was any movement with it at all.

Hi Jotony
Good news, Congrats!

Not even a peep. Last we heard was December 18th to pay the RTRF and send in extra evidence showing I, as the sponsor wish to return to Canada. I requested notes on Feb 12. Hopefully we hear something soon, we really wanted to move in March.
