So, what's the approximate time is it taking for other folks after the file starts processing? Any idea?
I am back to my coffee routine, feels so good to be able to login to Ecas

u will feel much better when suddenly one day u see CIC send u the LETTER for test!

just called CIC.. the agent said she cannot help me check my status coz right now their opening applications dated June 19 and said wait for 3 more months..

I did not check ECAS over the weekend, but the good news is they did update it online. They did receive it on June 20th , but it shows received on June 23. ;D

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 23, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 23, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on August 21, 2014.

maybe its time for you to resend a new application , with a cover letter explaining the 1st one.

Just contacted my MP and see what he can do on this matter.
In the meantime, I will have a new application ready to send...

I need to figure out what's going on with my first application. if it was returned, why. so that i can prepare my 2nd application accordingly.
But, to be honest, my application should be quite straightforward... have been working full time since Day 1 in Canada.. paid a lot of taxes... single applicant..
I really cannot think of anything could go wrong. I had 2 immigration lawyers go through my application packages before I sent it..

i really only checking ECAS once a week now, which is more than enough cuz still gonna be another 3 more months or longer to hear something.
