I thought I could sign off from this thread. But, when I went to Passport Office to apply for passport this morning, I was told my certificate is not valid yet!!! This is 2 business days (4 calendar days) after my oath... We were told during the Ceremony that we should be able to apply on Monday...

Just an update: Attended my ceremony yesterday. There were 89 new Canadians + guests in the room. Waiting was 30 min and the ceremony was about 1 hour. Judge was very nice and took picture with us after the ceremony. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. I'm sure yours will come very soon! We...

Alright - called this morning, was told that citizenship is granted and I'm in the queue waiting for the oath...

Just called - was told nothing has been scheduled for me... and it could take 6 months until the next move :s My friend did the test in Feb and completed the oath in 19 days..

So, I guess no one got Mar 20th oath invite in this group?

There won't be many ceremonies for the next month. just wondering if Civic Centre will take more people at the same time?

How come it goes from 3 sessions per day for 2 weeks to only 2 sessions in 4 weeks...

Passed the test today. Interview was very smooth as well. Was told ceremony will be in 2~4 months. Good luck guys! My friend did test mid Feb and oath is in 19 days. We'll see. :)

ECAS updated, too. Although it says notice was sent on Feb 25, but I received the letter on Feb 20th. :) Also, the last line is "*Note: Citizenship and Immigration Canada does sometimes schedule events on Saturdays or Sundays." :)

Congrats desigirltoronto84! Just received my test letter today! Ecas not updated yet. The letter was sent yesterday - It's funny that I just requested an ATIP yesterday.. March 7th (A Saturday?) :P Scarborough Good luck to everyone!

Mine took 1 day... but according to the call center agent, my file was only transferred on Jan 27..
