Hello All,

Does anybody received medical reassessment request from CIC? I have received medical re-assessment request on 23 Dec from India Delhi Consular Office. Is it OK If I can do the medical re-assessment from different city in India? or do I need do the medical re-assessment from the same city(Bangalore) which I have done my medicals this year in February. Please advise.

Hello All, Does anybody has panel physician list to do the medicals in India Hyderabad. CIC website is not working to download the list from the website. Please share the list ASAP.

Hey All. On Dec 27, I successfully did my landing at Pearson Intl. Airport.

My work permit and restoration of status was refused and I was out of status for 1.5 months.
I was nervous that because i overstayed, it would cause a issue at entry.

I decided to return home for a few days and come back to do my landing.

Flight was delayed and landed at 12:30 am. I filled out the declaration form before landing and presented with my COPR/passport to the immigration officer. He then sent me to a secondary room to have my documents stamped and signed. There was NO line at alll.
She asked if I went home to celebrate, i said " yes " lol. She was nice enough.
All i gave her was my passport(visa exempt) and CoPR. She asked if I had any criminal charges or any children anywhere. I said no and no.
We both signed my docs, she kept a copy and i was on my way. Whole process took 15 to 20min.

I wish anyone still waiting good luck and a happy new year !

I got my PPR on 21st Dec and I have sent my passport for Stamping.

Meantime, i was thinking about my landing.

I am planning to complete my landing at Rainbow bridge, Niagara. I don't have US Visa so I have to do flagpoling.

I have a six month old baby and I have to take the stroller with me. I came to know from someone that the Pedestrian walkway at US Border is restricted for strollers. Is it true?
Anyone has landing experience at rainbow bridge with strollers?
Please guide. Thanks

Hi SVB,

If you are driving, I would recommend to do landing at peace bridge rather than rainbow bridge. As you exit towards US check post, you can turn back to Canada. Just tell the border security personnel that you are their for landing and they will guide you.

All the best.

Cheers.

Thanks for the response. I don't drive, that's my problem.
I can do inland landing at any local CIC office but can't wait for a month. I am already in implied status and want to get my OHIP as soon as possible.
I am comfortable to do landing in Rainbow only, If i can take stroller.

Hi All,

Does anyone get their return tracker activated today ?

I have sent me passport on 14th December !!

I have a question about the medical exam

Do I need to bring the medical exam form IMM1017E with me for the appointment?

But I have never received the form in the medical instruction email sent by CIC. And in the email, CIC never mentioned I need to bring the form for the medical exam appointment.

Does anyone here has the same problem?

You can certainly take a stroller. There is a video on youtube of some crossing the bridge on foot, look it up and it will give you an idea for taking the stroller. All the best.

Cheers

I checked that video already. The entry gates are not shown.
Anyway, thanks for your response.

Hi Smxman,

I was also out of status as my extension for BOWP was refused. But , I have travelled back to my country.
I have few questions, can you please answer them? :

Did you continue to stay without status and once you gt your PR , you have landed bck ?
I have not yet updated my residential/mailing address , do you think I have to?
If I request for change of address, will that delay my application as the address change is for a different country?
