Medical request was a year ago in February, after that no news till November when I was requested to prove my intent to live in Ontario (I applied from Quebec), and then yesterday i received Ready for Visa email.

Thanks for the response. it seems CIC is currently processing june applicants whose Medical was requested in jan/feb 2015.

Congratulations Kothem Finally your wait is over . May I know when your medicals are done, how long are they valid.
Did you ever request GCMS notes.
I called them today and CIC told me same old story that your back ground check is going on.
too much frustrating.

My medicals were completed way back in February 2014. Yes, I requested GCMS notes couple of times.

no need to staple the open work permit. BTW when you got medical request from CIC or you did it upfront. please provide your timeline.

Do we need to send our work permit also along with the passports for visa stamping??. It was mentioned to send passports for myself and each of the family member in ready for visa (PPR) email. I just sent my passports only. was it an issues. I am a bit concerned now.

No there is no issue, because they did not ask you to send your current status document or anything like that, they have all your record. So they dont need it.
But at the landing time it is compulsory you have to show him your current status.

I received medical request today for my wife and kids and not for me. my question is why not me being a principal applicant? could there be a mistake. should I do upfront?

As i responded before to your query, you don't need to send the work permit. but you need to send the passport for each applicant who is applied for PR as your depended, assume you are the principle applicant then you need to send passports for yourself,your spouse and kids if any.

You should call CIC and asked that you have not received your medical. Also sent an e-mail to CIC Ottawa office you will received the response in 3 to 4 days.

I have seen applicants in the same situation. You can email to CIC explaining your situation, you should get response in couple of days. OR you can just wait for a while. I have seen one applicant who got his MR about a day after his spouse got MR.

I have submitted passport in VFS office on 12th Feb...and today i received my passport.... So happy and exicted.... 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

I sent my passport this Tuesday (2/16) for visa stamping. Does any one know when can we expect to receive the CoPR.

I just did my landing today at Rainbow bridge. I went really early in the morning, so there was no one there. It took about 40 mins for the whole process. Thanks all for the support

For me it took only 5 working days. When i asked in VFS office, they told max 2 weeks..
