My file is also under second review due to mismatch of responsibilities in Employment Letter versus NOC B responsibilities. I read that your file was gone for 2nd review. May we know the reason for your file's second review? Did CIC asks you for a explanation letter? or Did you send an explanation letter upon seeing 2nd review in GCMS notes?

Your reply is appreciated.

My file was under review because they want to see certificate of qualification or training in my trade - insulator. It was at April. They gave me 30 days to send a ticket or proof of certificate.
I write them that ticket in my trade in Alberta are voluntary, not needed to work, enclose a copy of LMO from my company, where is wrote that ' any formal education isn't required on this position.
So they wants ticket, I wrote a explanation letter after that.
My employment letter.also wasn't good but I didn't change it.

Hello All,

I have got my Medical request last night around 11PM EST. My details are given below.
1. Application sent - 8th june 2014
2. Application received at CIC - 13th june 2014
3. AOR - 28th July 2014
4. BOWP received(offcourse i applied for it) - 29th August 2014
5. RCMP request though i ad submitted with my application - 29th Jan 2015 then waiting waitng
6. GCMS states second review due to roles and responsibility was not mentioned in the LOE.
7. due date under the ministerial section of GCMS was 27th july 2015
8. I got my passport renewed and updated CIC with the copy of my new passport.
9.Applied for second BOWP in june 2015.
I have not send any document to CIC for my roles and responsibility which was not mentioned in the LOE and due to which it was sent for second review.
10. I got my Medical request on 16th july 2015.

I will do my medicals and wait again. for RPRF

No news from my End.

I called to CIC Ottawa office on last Friday to ask about Re-medical is received, but, Agent is rude,
He told me that We are not giving any information regarding Medical. Please wait, it will took few weeks to 3 months to receive.

when you did ur Medical examination? Means CiC alredy recieved it before you get request for RPRF....

Hi there,

My husband applied for 1st time on 2012 and he was rejected. We applied on 2014 when he got all the paperwork done correctly. We have been checking the status of the application on ECAS since May 2015 and since then the only application that showed up was the one on 2014 (the one that's currently open and "In process".
The CIC made an update On ECAS during the weekend, but they uploaded the data from the previous PR application (2012) it obviously says "decision Made" and we all now it wasn't good.

So, if somebody has an insight about this or have heard something like this before, I'll appreciate if you can share it with us.

My physician upload a my medical result today to CIC. Couple hours later, I got a RPRF.
But they also ask if I have any change in my maritial status from last correspondence.

I intend to get married at 29th August.
What do you think, they allow me to paid me right now for me and my spouse ? Or I have to wait till I get a certificate of marriage then I can pay RPRF for both of us ?

I completed 13 month on July 19th .Today call center agent told me that everything looks good in my file. There is no second review .However she is not sure why the file is taking so long .Security clearance also not yet started. As per agent 13 month is only applicable to 80% of cases .They asked me to wait few more month .Also advised me to send a mail to Ottawa office and wait for an update from the officer.

I also complted 13 months on July 19th. I called CIC call center and he told same... file is not been picked up since feb when I did my medicals. He has sent an enqiry to ottawa office and ask me to wait for their response for a week and if they dont come back call back within a week.

If you read the last 3 pages of forum, you will see CIC sent us emails this week confirming that the processing time is 15 months in average. (I received the same email a few days ago as well)
