Horaaaa I got my approval .. I dont get any email.. but they send me mail ( i'm not in Toronto now, so my parents have it).
The date is Aug 27... actually I dont know if it's approval or not... they send me a UCI and said my application transfered to Ankara.

Along with the passport, I am planning to send a letter to change the current mailing address and contact number of my spouse.

Is that fine or should I be updating the address on the page where it shows the status of application and mailing address.

Please advise.

Yeah ofcourse u can send the letter along with the application..Thts gonna be more proper...

update on eCas for me: under Sponsorship Application Status , it has been changed from In Process to Decision Made. ) but still haven't seen the letter yet.

smvi, could you please update the spreadsheet, at least AOR is on the 18th for me please? once we get the letter i think approval should be 22/8. Where is that letter? if it's not here today that means we can only hope to have it by tuesday next week - Canada is having a long weekend...

Hey guys logged into ecas and for sponsership application status say applicayion was recieved on june 22 and for permanent residence application status says application and that they are processing according to the reciepts recieved. Br havent gotten anythng frm them can some1 please tell me what it cud mean?

i think it is not 4 d applications were directly sent to Ankara since this time is for processing 80 percent of cases between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012. so we should just stay positive.

i sent my application on June 18 and it was received on 26 based on post office website.
but in the gc.cic site based on my UCI it is written we received your application on June 20. So you can change the spreed sheet if you think it's necessary

i assume that it said this 15 months is for 80% of cases between 1july 11 - 30june12. am i right? i mean if we want to be positive we should hope that we are in the 20% left

roseyN, we just need to wait. they will be sending you the letter soon.

am also waiting for that although on eCas it showed "decision made" but since we havent received the letter (it was sent on 22nd aug) we still cant tell whats inside the letter...

our applications were not sent to Ankara between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012 n this long processing time is because of d backlog from Damascus so maybe we r not in d same boat as last year applicants were
