our applications were not sent to Ankara between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012 n this long processing time is because of d backlog from Damascus so maybe we r not in d same boat as last year applicants were

yep - it went down last week, and indeed it's great news! there is a thread for August applicants if you want to register your application there and be added to the spreadsheet, look for louie_ann, he is responsible for the updating.

I was thinking that PPR would come even before the application for Quebec will be processed So this could be a long wait for me since we will send the papers for Quebec next month (october) my hubby will come next week for vacation and we will fill it up together and may send it next month the time he goes back to canada. Anybody has an idea how long will it take for the quebec application to be processed? Thanks!

I answered you in the sponsorship thread...but i would send it off when your hubby is hear next week and then you have nothing to worry about it takes approx 2 -4 weeks to get the CSQ back. You can wait to do it ask they will request it with your PPR but that will delay the process as they will wait until they receive the CSQ to send you the VISA and your passport.

n i should select it otherwise i cannot submit my information 2 check d status!

Sometimes it's can take a while until ECAS updates whatever you do don't tick the box

i sent my application on June 18 and it was received on 26 based on post office website.
but in the gc.cic site based on my UCI it is written we received your application on June 20. So you can change the spreed sheet if you think it's necessary

Ofcourse its required as spreadsheet are the only means from where we can guess how much time still we need to keep patience .....Updated...

Dont do that , else you wont able to log in ecas...Leave it as it is....Just ignore the box...

Do you not see 'DECISION MADE' yet under the Sponsor application side? That's about all you're going to see. Based on others' experience here, I'm not expecting to see anything on the Applicant side until we already know visa has been issued.

using my husband UCI# and his profile I can access ECAS. I can access also mine with my applicant number and my profile. . I input wrong info thats why i cant access it. Now i know how to.. lol! Im hoping for the PPR. Wish u all the best all June applicants.

it takes 5 working days 4 me 2 check my application status! do not check d box. it takes time 2 update your status n after that u can check it so do not worry at all
