so cic got received my application back yesterday already! lets we got approval soon. still so mad about that signature at myself! cant believe!

dont worry i know you feel bad but shit happens, u have it in already which is the good part and you wont have to wait long jugding from past posts. cheer up ;D

You would not believe that my Lawyer sent the Photocopy of my forms instead of originals and so my application got returned. They received it back on 27th August and now the waiting game begins again. So we are on the same page in your case you did the mistake and in my case to be on a safe side i decided to go with a lawyer and he did the mistake. Bottom line if things are supposed to go wrong, they go wrong no matter what ever you do.

my update today is on eCas, it shows my hubby's address. Wasn't there yesterday. Still "in process" at sponsor and "application received" on my side. still haven't gotten the approval in the mail.

I called CIC today and they said they received my application but it's still in process. So I guess that's AOR for me then.

My VO is Hong Kong. Would you please update the typo and the year 21012? ;D

14th Aug- I called my lawyer, if they had received anything or not, and the answer was nothing.
16th Aug- Received AOR email from my Lawyer
Since then Regular phone calls about the status to my lawyer and CIC call center and My lawyer had nothing and CIC wont tell as the website processing time was 86days and May 18th. ECAS just showed that they received my application.
29th Aug- CIC website got updated to 66 days and June 25th and i immediately sent an email to my lawyer and the answer i got was that they have received nothing, and we were still on the normal processing timeline. Not satisfied with the answer i call the Call centre and was told that they mailed me the letter on 20th Aug for further information that was needed on the file. So i called back and the person who was handing my file at the lawyer's office had no idea about the letter and was told that they would get back to me on this. I was worried as i was told that they did not receive the letter and CIC call center told me that they sent one. I checked my Mail and nothing. I personally dropped by my lawyers office that evening and luckily he was there and i asked him whether his assistant told him anything about my case or not and he said no. So i explained him the whole situation and how much frustated i was with his service and he told me that he would personally look into this and call me back next day. Next day when i call him around lunch time i was informed that the assistant did not send the original forms and that they had received the letter and the action was already taken and CIC received my application back on 27th Aug. Also now on my file will be looked after by a different assistant and was assured that he would personally take care of this from now on. So far as the timeline is he told me to wait till next week before even the call centre could confirm that they received my file. It takes atleast a week for them to even confirm that they received the application back. I am so mad at that assistant who was handing my case So now on i am hoping for the best.

sometimes when things like this happen, seriously we at the receiving ends feel so wronged but i bet the assistant wouldn't have understood why we got so mad at them... they just dont understand the waiting part - how it affects us all - and the hassles of redoing an application. good luck to you mate, hope it would go smoothly for you from now on.

im still waiting for the letter from cic..................................... slowly turning into a giraffe, with a long neck, looking out the window for Mr. Postman!

Along with the passport, I am planning to send a letter to change the current mailing address and contact number of my spouse.

Is that fine or should I be updating the address on the page where it shows the status of application and mailing address.

Please advise.
