I sorry to inform you that my application returned back by CIO on 28 june since cap of 3111 reached .but surprisingly my application reached on 10 june 2011 and at that time cap of 3111 was 978 and on 23 june again cap was 978 only then how come cap reached on 10 june ?
Anyway i didnt recieve yet my application .i sent them email about website cap information on 15 and 23 june 2011 but it cant help me anymore.
As soon as i will get it i will send it back but i dont know when it will reach india since they sent it by ordinary post.please remove me from the tracker ,,

They did not update Caip......status...........today is 19th July 2011..........till the date they did not update any status about caip.........but we know how much application have been reached............

My file had reached CIO on June 29, 2011, as per courier airway bill no. tracking.

My credit card was charged today July 19, 2011, for Application Fee for the full amount. I checked with my bank and they said the amount is blocked by merchand and not claimed yet.
Does CIO blocks the amount and then at a later stage, when they want to create a file no., then they debit the amount?
Does debiting my credit card at this stage means they will create a file no. soon?
Or basically what does this credit card charge mean?

Can anyone help me. Thanks.

as cc charged means that ur amount is going to be used by them for processing.but i dont know about the block of amount...

Alhumdulilah wanted to let everyone know that they charged my cc today 7/18/2011, my application was received on 6/29/2011. I'm am going to patiently wait for my PER, praying all the time too Good luck all

when a transaction is done with a bank card, the merchant involved request for the amount/money from the bank, once the bank receives the request from the merchant, the money is held and marked as used (here your account balance remains the same as the money is still within your bank account but the available funds in your account will be less as you no longer have access to the money requested for). after about 1-5 working days, the money is finally debited from your bank account. your bank ought to explain this to you.

I checked with the bank two times and they say, everything is fine and CIO will collect the money by24/48 hours maybe. I made sure the bank will not this transaction. Also my balance is equal to ledger balance, showing debit of this processing fee amount. Thanks God. Now I have to wait for Positive Eligibility Review (PER). It took 19 days from receipt of my profile (courier receipt date). Considering the begining of July Canada day holidays and summer holidays, it is almost 14 working days almost, and it is quiet fast actually. I am quiet happy. Initially I was expecting some news after 4 months!!! Now anybody can tell me how long it will take to get PER? I mean how long we have to wait normally from Ceredit Card (CC) or DD encashing to PER? And then how long from PER to RBVO ('Receipt By Visa Office') or E-cas?

I sent to CIO on 10 june recieved by GLEN and at that time website showig cap 976 till 23 june2011.so i understood i m within cap .then after one month i contacted CIO about my status of application .Yesterday they sent me email that we returnrd back aplication on 28 june2010 since cap of 1000 reached.i didnt yet recieved back my application .They sent by ordinary post.

My application was received on June2nd its been more than 47 days.. CIC will not respond to your email if the application is received by them in the last six weeks. I suggest you wait till mid of August..

For credit cards, there is something called 'pending transaction' which means a charge has been made to ur account but not cleared yet. It also means you file has passed the completeness check awaiting review. So now wait for your PER.
