Does anyone know how long "Security Screening (Inland)" under Background Check takes?

I applied in mid July 2024 Inland and called IRCC where they said Security hasn't started.

Did your info sharing and criminality complete?

Anyone got the BCG completed? Or any of the three part completed in BCG?

I read somewhere in March Inland forum and this person said the background and biometrics does not change until eCOPR is issued. So P1 should be coming soon. I saw people from May and early June are getting their P1

Anything after 4 months you should look into withdrawing your application if it was not sent to Etobicoke

My OWP has been processed for more than 4 months, nothing updated,what can I do? How do I know where it was sent?

If you’re in Canada and we approve your permanent residence application, we’ll send you 2 emails:

1. The first email will ask you to respond with some basic information. >> P1
2. The second will let you know we’re ready to confirm your permanent resident status. >> P2

After completing these two steps, they will issue eCOPR (which is PR confirmation letter)

Can you give any suggestions to my case? My timeline was almost stoped. Any there is a odd conditon, my applicaiton NO has been changed on Dec 5, and the old application was closed, by the time it was closed my SIP has been aproved and PA's medical exam part showed complete( we did not do ME acctully). But for the new application the system showed the application date was Dec 5, and those information has been gone "SIP has been aproved and PA's medical exam part showed complete( we did not do ME acctully)".

When was your last correspondence? Try ordering gcms notes that will force the officer to look into your file . When did you submit your owp application? If your application was moved to non routine ircc will send you a letter .

Same here, my background check has been in process from October. I was reading the comments for June applicants most of them have started getting p1 and p2

We just need to wait i guess. Next month they could start with July applicant's unless they IRCC Lord wants to delay/ push further!!
