No concerns noted with marital status, education, employment, or documents;

Ready to Finalize: The file has been marked as “Ready to Finalize” after eligibility, criminality, medicals, and info sharing were cleared.

Security Screening (In Progress):
Primary Applicant: Security – Not Started (as of Mar 2025);
Spouse: Security – In Progress with CBSA (received on Oct 21, 2024);
This is the only pending item holding back final decision.

Still waiting for the update. Any suggestions?

Not a suggestion per se but to share that my application with similar attributes (PNP EE, Inland, AOR 20 Jul 2024, CPC Ottawa) is in similar situation.
Background check for PA in progress since 15-Oct-2024. No change or update since then. GCMS notes received in Feb 2025 indicates that background check in progress.
Not much to do other than awaiting the outcome.

BG Check: criminality passed on Oct. 7
...then stuck in BG check with security not started and eligibility not started for 7 months!! (and 10 months since AOR)

May 12, 2025:
> BG check and eligibility shown as completed in tracker
> Final decision made according to GCMS notes

Portal 1: May 14 - replied the same day
Portal 2: June 16- replied the same day
e-COPR: June 23!!!!!

PVO was Etobicoke till sometimes in May 2025 where it was transfered to Montreal
