Why do you say that?OH BUDDY, thats comprehensive background check… its going to take a while..
For me the background check on tracker shows in progress and eligibility not started but on gckey it says "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements". Also, medical shows blank on gckey.Today my eligibility in the tracker changed from not started to in-progress.
The comprehensive bcg takes MONTHS to finish ircc do them randomly and with cases of people who have a big travel history. If you want more information, please ask in other blogsWhy do you say that?
Call IRCC and ask them about your PVO and SVO.Alos, how to know which visa office is processing your application?
I think the question was more along the lines of how background check going from in progress to in progress again implies comprehensive security. I'd be curious to know too if you have any specific knowledge pertaining that. The comprehensive bcg takes MONTHS to finish ircc do them randomly and with cases of people who have a big travel history. That is *literally*, word by word, what I got from my agent (Alex) on my call todayToday I called IRCC to understand the update on tracker. Agent mentioned that my application looks good and criminality part of background check is complete. He was very positive and assuring in his tone.
I know what a comprehensive background check is and what could trigger it, I was asking how you could tell from the status change. thanks anywaysThe comprehensive bcg takes MONTHS to finish ircc do them randomly and with cases of people who have a big travel history. Comprehensive SS does not apply to everyone and it seems its very difficult to find out as per this post https://gcmsnotes.com/all-about-security-screening/They sent me an ADR today for military records or proof of exemption (I'm from one of the more problematic countries lol). Submitted exemption records right away. Not sure if this means I'm bound for a comprehensive security now.
