You have to follow the instructions given in that Portal 2 email!

To complete the above you will be asked to:

• Sign in with your existing details to the PR Portal;
• Confirm that you are currently residing in Canada;
• Provide your current mailing address in Canada so that we can mail you your permanent resident card;
• Upload a photo in a digital format that will be used for your permanent resident card.

Did they send you the username and the password? If not, that means you already have an existing pr portal account! So, you have to log in using your existing credentials!

They did not … I had never had one before but will try to use my email and see if I will be logged in

That's odd! Because a first time user will always get the username and one-time password sent by IRCC through P2. Basically, the VO creates everything in the portal for you to just accept and upload the address and photo! Try to use the forget password option and see what happens!

Thank you it did work years back I had an employer start AIP process for me so I managed to log in and forgot password and I saw I had an existing profile from Atlantic immigration program that I didn’t go through with . Thanks a ton
