That’s quite long. You should fill in a webform and ask them to schedule the ceremony. 5 months is way too long.

Could you send a link to the webform you are talking about?

Very normal. Montreal is slow with oath ceremony. If you status says decision made, it's just about time. I think you should have your oath in May. Montreal usually gives you just two weeks notice.

Hope this helps.

It says Decision Made on the first screen, without other details. When I click on it, I see what I quoted in my previous post to which you replied.

Hello, good people.

Is it normal that after more than three months after passing the test, the status has not changed and we have not received the invitation to the oath ceremony?

e-CAS (as of today):
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 25, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 3, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on October 16, 2018.
  4. We sent you a notice on December 6, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 8, 2019 at 10:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us

It's possible. Although two of my friends, one person who wrote the test in December and another one last month I believe, received their path ceremony invitation for May 5th(couple.). I wrote In Feb and waiting.

I just received my test invitation today as an email. The test is scheduled for May 15th.

I can't access the spreadsheet right now so I don't know which line I am.

Edit to add: line 90 on the spreadsheet.

Had my citizenship ceremony last week just in time for the provincial elections in Alberta. Feels great to fulfil my civil duties.

Congrats,

Hi all,

My application is still in progress (no test invite yet) and the passport of my son is about to expire in June.

Can you please provide me some advice on what would be the impact if I apply for a new passport or
wait for some time to see if the process will be finished before that..?

Thank you all.

Regards,
Srujan

If you don't travel outside of Canada withing 3/4 months don't worry about passport expiration.

Hello everyone, although I'm a June applicant, I wanted to share this here.

My wife and I passed our test yesterday (April 17, 2019). Got 20/20.

This morning we got Decision Made on ECAS (April 18, 2019).

Vancouver app - line 63 in the spreadsheet.
