Is it normal that after more than three months after passing the test, the status has not changed and we have not received the invitation to the oath ceremony?
e-CAS (as of today):
- We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 25, 2018.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 3, 2018.
- We started processing your application on October 16, 2018.
- We sent you a notice on December 6, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 8, 2019 at 10:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us

That’s quite long. You should fill in a webform and ask them to schedule the ceremony. 5 months is way too long.Montreal is super super slow!!! My husband had his test in Nov 19th and Decision Made the next day. No news of the ceremony after 5 months!!! This is ridiculous!!!
