Dear forum members,

I would really appreciate if you could share your experience regarding my below question.
For citizenship application CIC requires photocopy of two pieces of ID, one of them must have photo along with application. My kid is 11 years old. If I send them a photocopy of his passport (given outside of Canada, in our home country) and Care card will it work.
I have read in CIC website School report also works, but my kid's school doesn't provide any report with photo, date of birth and name on it.
Could you please advise me what kind of two ID did you attach to your application for your kids and has CIC accepted them?

Passport and care card (without picture) is perfectly ok, enclose the school record as well, what ever they issue, Good luck.

Getting really anxious now. Quite a few Feb applicants are still waiting for test invite. One of my friends as well. Does going to a MP help in anyway to atleast get the file out of the haystack

Citizenship Oath Cancelled 2 days to the Day...Help!!

Kindly help me members advise on the fate of my Citizenship Application.

- I Applied July 25, 2018
- Started process in October 2018
- Citizenship Test done and passed in Feb 2019. - Decision made in March 2019 and was sent a letter to attend the Citizenship Oath Ceremony that was for April 2019.
- Just two (02) to the Oath ceremony, i received a call to cancel my attendance.
I thought it was a scammer so i ignored and went for the ceremony only to be told/confirmed that i cant proceed with Oath due to some reasons that will be communicated to me in writing or another date will be set.
- Now my Online status has changed from "Decision Made" back to "In process".
- My PR card expires June 2019 and already made plans to travel in July 2019.
Am so confused, scared and worried on what could have happened. Spent all Easter weekend in tears wondering what to do
Any ideas or advise please and thanks!

I sorry to hear that, did you call to IRCC yet. I think you should order for GCMS note bellow link.

i sent my application in July 27,2018.
The last time i heard from them was november 27, 2018. they asked for my fingerprints. I status of my application and no updates since they requested my fingerprints
Haven’t heard anything since. Has anyone else had their fingerprints required?
Why are they so slow?
i’m going away on vacations for two weeks in May, if by luck i get the test invite while away, can I change it? if it interferes with my dates? I can’t cancel my trip, it’s been booked for 6 months
