It was an email to sponsor from CIC, with attached PDF letter stating that the application had been forwarded to the visa office abroad.

Guys any suggestion or comment on this?

Woohoo AOR2 today. Got an email today with a letter stating we are being processed at CPC Mississauga

Since some people were asking ,for reference the letter started :

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of ****** and family (if applicable).

This message is being sent to confirm that the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) will be processed at CPC Mississauga.

I am the sponsor and this is the email I got. :)

Don't worry too much on your GCkey. It's mostly just used to upload additional documents, nothing else. Your ECAS is what is important. If your ECAS says that they sent you correspondence and that you need to respond or submit additional documents before such date, then do that. If you already did, then don't worry about it anymore.

In your GCkey, if you click View Submitted Application and at the bottom you can see messages there like, Request for Shedule A and PCC. If you don't then they are not requesting it yet. That means you have to wait. If you have successfully linked your application to your GCkey account, all email correspondence to the principal applicant also appears there as a PDF attachment. So any request, or action required will be stated there.

Application received July 25. I called CIC and agents were not co-operative at all and said my application is not in the system yet. I tried to push but she said they are sending AOR to 14 July 14 applications.
Pls share if someone had chance to talk to agents today

Just got AOR 2 from Singapore.
Waiting for a medical call and then background check.
Although she had one earlier this year for a TRV application.
Hope they will not start another background check.
smart guy. this is what i did too. i think they still do background check but it would be faster (hopefully).

why do you need to call CIC? July 25 applicants, you'll probably gonna get AOR week of September 11 the earliest. So be patient, waiting can be stressful.
