I had the same experience with the guy (i think his name was Massimo) today. he was not helpful at all and he told me they are still working on July 11th. I did look at the June people spreadsheet and it seems like they are taking their sometimes as some people who applied beginning of June got their aor on the same timeline with the people who applied in the middle or end of June, so I guess as much as it is hard we need to wait a little bit longer to see what happens.Hey guys. My wife just called CIC again, and they gave her a temporary application number. The lady on the phone said they have all the documents and now are assessing our eligibility. Our application was received on July 26th. I want to tell you as well, that she called this morning and the agent on the phone was really not cooperative at all. The one this morning said the application wasn't in the system, and didn't even bother to look it up even though my wife gave her my UCI number and provided some other info. The person on the phone this morning also said they were working on July 14th applications, but we know already how this is, they just tell you this to get rid of you when you're calling. I just wanted to share my experience so you can try harder or more when you call CIC, some of them need to be pushed so they actually help you. Some reps don't even want to help you, as simple as that. I understand that anyone can be having a bad day, so I would advise and suggest you to try different reps if you feel like the one you've had isn't very helpful. Also, it's very rare if you get through on the first time, but we've always gotten through to speak to an agent, no matter the time. You just have to try several times, the most it's taken us is 5 attempts to get to speak to someone. The waiting time on hold is usually more than thirty minutes, even if you call at 8 am. You can call at any time within the hours they work on, just have to try several times until you're put on hold to speak to a rep. Good luck!
Yes, but they start working on the applications weeks before they actually give you AOR. So, if you are able to locate the file in the system, you can ask them up to date information about it. That's what I will keep doing, call them several times a week until I get AOR. Even if they're working on July 11th, they would have already started processing your application, as it would take several days for them to make sure everything is okay and it doesn't need to be returned to you. You should call them again and insist they try to find your application on their system, so you can get news about itI had the same experience with the guy (i think his name was Massimo) today. he was not helpful at all and he told me they are still working on July 11th. I've been calling them since Thursday. They simply told me that my application is in their system and they gave me a temporary application number as well, but that's it. They had no other updates on my file apart from it is still there and nothing on its being pending to return or something like that. They just told me they haven't started processing it yet.Yes, but they start working on the applications weeks before they actually give you AOR. Calling them won't speed up the process at all. You should be patient, you could still be two weeks or more away from getting AORI am still waiting for Our AOR . Our application was received on July 20th. My Application contains Spouse (Previously Non Accompanied) + Dependent Child. I am of the fear that my file may not be rejected. Shall I wait till this week or if talking with the Call Centre will speed up the Processing.
Hi there,Hello, Does anyone have submitted their PCC and Schedule A after linking their application? If yes, please let me know how I can submit mine. Also, I have checked under submitted documents option but there is no option to submit or attach any documents.
I tried to call and check today but after spending several minutes routing my way through the various menus, all I got was a message saying that there were too many calls and not enough agents and they couldn't put me in the queue. Then the call ended. What number did you call and how did you get in the queue? Any suggestions for good times of day to call?I had the same issue my husband called and checked the first name and the last name and the funny things they didn't put as how we wrote it in the application so I sued that and it worked . Just checke the info that you are putting is the same they put it in there system
