Hi guys im really worried now so i just got my hubbys papers physically signed and was planning to submit the application by monday on the 17th until noticed the relationship form was the one from 12-2016 instead of the new one. it will take him forever to re-do it again is it going to be ok if just one form isnt updated or do i have to do it all over again? please help it took us 6months to get everything done i honestly dont wanna wait anylonger

By not sending the up to date forms you are risking your application being returned or having to re do it. If I were you, with all the hard work that gets put into the application, I would not send in the package knowingly with outdated forms.

I know it sucks to hear that but it could save you heartache down the road.

yea after spending more dollars to redo one form really sucks but im getting him to reprint the new form tomorrow and get him to mail it to me again... hopefully everything works out thank you

I double checked the forms and compared them with each other, nothing got changed regarding the questions on the form. The only difference is that they added a hand icon at the beginning of the signature boxes. I hope they won't return a package just because of that.

it is totally up to you for your peace of mind to do change it or not. But I sent the 2016 version because it could have taken a long time to receive the new form signed by husband through the mail and there was practically no change in the content of the form apart from the hand icons.

same situation here he lives in qatar and its so expensive to go and send it again. so you applied this july and you sent the 2016 version still? where are you at your application at the moment?

I just sent my application on Tuesday the 11th. They will hopefully receive it by tomorrow. I'm not going to be worried about it since nothing serious got changed on the new version.
