my timeline so far:

application arrived - July 13th
AOR received - August 3rd
SA - August 23rd
Medical exams received - August 26th

So, we called CIC today and got a confirmation that we got SA already! It was approved and transferred to Manila VO last August 23. (Thank God! ) And we will wait for the email until September 6, if no email still by then, i'll have to call again. Well, at least there's progress now. Fingers crossed, hope everything will go on smoothly and swiftly.

Finally some good news.


Called the call center and found out that, I got approved as Sponsor on Aug 23 and file transferred to VO. They will send me email again .

Any one knows how long it takes them to send this email again ?

Hi I'm a little worried,my application was received on July 11th and started process on July 28th,my status is in process and my wife( sponsor) status is also in process , it also says that the medical received ... But still no update no SA... What does this mean?

E-mails are sent in batches. Seems to be every 3-4 days.

If the PA side is in process, unless you checked the box to process the app if SA is denied, then you have SA approval.

Call them . Recently they are not sending emails to some applicants , after pproval, best would be to call and find out.

There is a question at the top of the application that asks if you want them to process the application if SA is denied. It is a check box.

so most of us didnt get email for SA but found out that our files were already transferred .. who else are processing their papers from manila? looks like most of us (manila VO) didnt get any email for SA

Just received SA for UK Outland applied from within Canada! Our application has been sent to Ottawa which is amazing!

My next question is once you get DM what happens after? Do they need your passport? Is there a certain period where you can't leave/enter the country? We are applying UK Outland from within Canada. My worry is that we have just booked a trip to Mexico in November, which could be in the timeframe we get DM if CIC is working fast.. Will this be an issue?!

No I don't see any check box in the case... So should be SA,right? Just no email...
