Also I got an email from CIC today letting me know my application had been updated (which I'd already seen yesterday).

Of course! Background check went to "In Progress" on 11/24, ECAS updated to "Decision Made" on 12/7, and MyCIC went to Approved yesterday! :)

So I had been excited, but maybe I've jumped the gun. Last week my ECAS showed my Permanent Residency as a "Decision Made" status. MyCIC however still shows that Backgrounds Check is "In Progress" and I haven't received any messages from CIC. Is it possible ECAS was updated in error? Or does...

Is it normal to see ECAS go to "Decision Made", but not the MyCIC page? How long after "Decision Made" were people receiving COPRs, if that does indeed mean I've been approved? :)

I just logged into ECAS and it says "Decision Made"! Does this mean I'm approved (I mean assuming I'm as straight forward a case as I think lol).

Thanks! It's not as though I'm in default or breaking any rules, but of course I'm running through every reason why my case is not moving, though likely it's just waiting its turn.

Does anyone know if the CIC checks your US status? Because i didn't have a TIN number for my husband in 2014, my account said we could delay filing as we didn't owe any money. We still haven't filed those, but we did file our 2015 taxes. I'm trying to put my mind at ease that maybe that's why...
