My application was received on July 20. I received an email since I opted for this method of communication. I never had a Client ID before since I came to Canada decades ago before the Client ID system was introduced. But I was given a new UCI number.

I sent my application to sponsor my wife on July 15 , I received email from CIC related to AOR1 on August 18, 2015. Excited to see the AOR1. Now, waiting for AOR2 to happen soon.

Just received the AOR 1 from CIC. Yaay.

However i just checked my eCAS status online and it says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."

Does anyone know how long does it take for CIC to update the eCAS status?

Another quick question, is there a specific format for Application number; meaning does it start with a specific letter?
