I just got my AOR1 today too.
Seems like there are a few ppl here having almost the same timeline so far.

Just received the AOR 1 from CIC. Yaay.

However i just checked my eCAS status online and it says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."

Does anyone know how long does it take for CIC to update the eCAS status?

Another quick question, is there a specific format for Application number; meaning does it start with a specific letter?

Still cant check on the CIC website yet with the UCI number I got yesterday hopefully it will be updated later today or tomorrow. So excited!!!

I've downloaded the e-CAS Checker android app and keep obsessing over it! I haven't been able to login yet either but hopefully we'll be able to soon! Very exciting!!! ;D

Got AOR1 on 07 August 2015 .. still waiting for SA .. its been 53 days since Application received .. anyone else in same situation? Wait is killin' me not to mention file going to NDVO next which is frigging 17 months of waiting ..

It probably won't be a full 17 months. The numbers on CIC's site aren't averages, it's the time it took to process 80% of applications, so 79% of them took less than 17 months.

Absolutely but oh well not happy with the processing speed. And NDVO still working on Oct 2014 files .. so assuming they keep the same speed, its still going to be 11 months.. I am definitely jealous of the Manila applicants .. looks like their VO is on steroids.. the whole applications are done in under 4 months!

Received AOR1 on Aug 5th! Still waiting on SA. And now, it says 61 days on the website.

I just received the AOR today. CIC received our application July 30. Let the process begin!

So I forced myself not to look at anything to do with cic for almost 2 weeks...and poof...our status has been changed to In Process!
Yippeee!!...I think! Have not recieved an email with AOR..nothing except In Process after I log in with my reciept number on cic website. Is this normal?!
