JULY 2014 OUTLAND APPLICATIONS!

I can't believe it!! After sending in our application on 14 July 2014, then having to send in different forms six weeks later because they 'updated' them or something, now finally after 8 months, we have just received sponsorship approval. Wow what a wait! Now my application has been sent to Sydney for my applicant stage to be processed. I feel a little better at least that we have made it this far I guess

I feel your pain same thing happen to our application filed July 14 was asked for updated form in august was emailed by CIC that application was complete and then asked for another updated form in Oct called my MP and they four out that CIC was processing it in inland instead of outland another set back until November. Finially sent to Havana in Jan 8 looking at looking at 8months and now Havana is saying 10 months It is a long process

Congrats!!!! Ottawa's wheels seem to be moving again, slow, but I'll take slow over nothing.

OUCH, and I thought the 3 months I had to wait was long. I hope you get put into your original position in queue with the VO.

I really hope that ottawa starts moving. Like many people, my wife and I are starting to feel pretty hopeless... So I really hope it starts moving! :'(

613-944-4000 you can call Ottawa I guess from US versus the 'in canada' number they publicly post.

Is that directly to the Ottwa VO or just CIC call center?

It's likely to Mississauga, you can only contact ottawa through email... Which they rarely answer. Better to ask for gcms notes. :

i'm pretty sure that's the phone number for the main cic call center, not ottawa. also, not everyone has success with that number (especially if you are just using a land line or cell phone). When i tried to call it from the us, i got disconnected after going through the series of fonts. in my experience, all it does is kick you over to the same line as the 888 number and disconnects. the people who seem to get through on that number are using magic jacks, google voice or some other internet phone. definitely let us know if you have success with it and what kind of line you used to call.

Someone just told me it was Ottawa on another post when we were all complaining about not being able to ask if our app is okay from anywhere but Canada and throuhg 30 day wait with notes.

I'll test it out on Monday and let you know

That is what I also figured but a few members have been saying they have called Ottawa VO .. lol which has made me start to wonder. I ordered notes. nothing exciting in them. lol...

Ottawa seems to be sitting on their asses.

They did answer my address change email lol.. Ill give them that much.
