Well we got our COPR on Tuesday this week. Just thought I would update everyone. Wife is going to be moving here on the 20th of May. Hopefully others receive some good news soon. It's really weird because I don't even know how to feel about it all anymore. Probably in shock but it all feels...

So we got our copr mailed friday April 24th according to the call centre. How long will it take to reach Seattle? Just getting a little worried. Anyone got any idea how long it'll take?

Just got our DM too today. So on a Saturday of all days :). Wasn't updated yesterday, thought I was out of luck for this week!

Hey everyone... I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer for online. If my wife is a u.s citizen, does she need a pr card to travel back and fourth between the two countries? Or will her passport be fine?

Hey everyone, my ecas just recently changed from application received to "in process since April 13th". Anyone know how long a case will stay in process averagely until "decision made" and COPR? Just curious and excited.

Ya my wife would go nuts staying home and not working / going to school. So we decided to work and wait it out. It is tough either way, haha

Anyone have any idea how long it takes after "in process" to receive a COPR? Or is it completely random? Just excited to finally see a little end to the tunnel.

My ECAS just went into process today. Says that it started on April 13th! Hopefully I will be getting some more good news soon. Good luck to everyone else here, I hope you all get some good news soon too :). Maybe my file was in the same pile as yours Ashley! LOL.

That's the same type of things I found in my gcms notes and we sent it all in at once too. Happy to see you got ecas update! Hopefully I am in your officers pile! Lol

If I hadn't annoyed cic and asked for notes, I would still only know my application was received. They didn't update mine yet, but from notes it says in progress. So don't be discouraged if you don't see anything

Yea I did call within Canada. Probably much harder if outside. Kind of ridiculous that they do that.

I just called 1-888-242-2100, extension 2110 (gets you on with person). Normally they don't say anything but she was helpful and told me things I can't see online, so overall it was awesome. My app is at CPC-Ottawa, sponsoring my American wife
