There are still a lot of June applicants that are frozen too. Some even from the beginning of June. It seems that a lot of apps are just chosen to be stuck.
We got our request to pay Right to Residence fee in December... But nothing since then and our app still just says received.... We will get our notes back next week and hopefully they say SOMETHING. My husband and I are both sick of waiting. Every morning is a huge heart break when I check all my emails and our Ecas and nothing has changed. Yet I can't stop myself from checking at least once a day, often twice.

I really hope applications start moving soon. Everyone is getting very nervous. Doesn't seem fair that they can't have an entire department only for family so that express entry would not slow us down. :(
Praying, crossing fingers and toes we all see something change.

Seeing ECAS and mailbox with no update is really depressing. :(

Might be time for people to start contacting there local media about all these issues , and those in Manila it might be time for a protest in front of the embassy . It's ridiculous that things take as long as they do! Some have had PPR already and are still waiting for visa 6 months after PPR

And people show start posting there complaints on the Canadian embassy in Manila's FB page

Apparantly,my application is still processing my "criminal check"'which they have been since August 2014....

So it is taking them this long to check my criminal backround?

Well,in the meantime, the canadian government issued me a firearms license within two months and I now have guns in my house.

Makes no sense to me that the right to work takes so much longer than the right to own a firearm.

The worst part is, Ottawa applicants are quoted 16 months on CIC website, even though for the last few years its been 6-8 months, so we can call and complain all we want, but Ottawa will just say "its just how long it takes"

Im also waiting its been so long.. last month received mail for medical reassessment n i have done that too.. delhi is so slow processing the application. Any one have any idea after medical reassessment how long its gonn take time or what will be the next.. thanks

I'm totally with you in all this frustration! "application recieved" is starting to look like swear words. HA. :(BUT it WILL happen. I don't want to apply for my notes because I feel like it will do me no good to know what I already do, that they're not even looking at our application yet.....boo. For some reason it help checking the forum and knowing its not abnormal. Still sucks.

Well to be honest,I think it's time to complain now for outland applicants.

Its pretty hard to complain when we are still in the processing times. Yes it sucks we want to be either with our partners or if they are here they want to work . Its when they screw up the applications thats when we should complain ,but we are terrified to complain personally because it could affect our file .Once my file is pass the processing day they will here from me .

Well me and my husband understand that ,and knows the processing time but it grows longer months every few months ,but not requesting passport and will take 6-9 months ,really???? How was it worked on for visa?how was requesting passport won't be done on that length of time???im not referring this on us with my husband, many was never done yet..do we know if we will be the same with those persons waiting until the end of processing times but passport requested so early???

Like yours taffy ,wow you're april applicant..next month is April.how many months processing time in London ?

they may say its within processing times, but they processing times have now become unacceptable! a year and a half to process a spousal visa application.... election is in the near future time to contact local MP's, immigration officers, local new media etc... One thing I learned from years in dealing with the government is the louder you get the more action you get.
good luck to all , but there is now way 14-18 months is acceptable to me. The only way I see a change on this process and the complete incompetence at the embassy in manila is to make noise about it.
I wish all a speedy approval

I was at my MP OFFICE yesterday . The only thing he wanted to do was to pull up the processing times .He didn't have a clue on immigration. I know its election time or soon be but we just can't go in without enought information. Inland is standard 17 months then another 8 months but outland varies on each Vo as you know.

As you know many was left behind 2013 even in Phil's..and now passport request and get it back goes to 6-9 months..it was not really 8 months exactly ..so does in Phil's it's 17 months and some other takes longer too
