experience in Canada and who intend to reside in a province other than the Province of Quebec.

Yes, thanks alot Im just emailed my company for that and email CPP just in case they just dont wake up afte so long on Monday and refuse my aplication without thinking ,The funny thing is I had my FSW application still in process from March 2011 with no Medicals,what a bizzare my life has become

Gagan, you may want to highlight the 24 month part when you are writing that in your email to CPP-O. and then explain how you have more than 24 months of experience at the time of application.

I am not sure whether there is a requirement how old could the reference letter be, like for PCC they say it should be issued no more than 6 weeks before the date of application.You might want to look into that!

Hamad on the last page Notes says Work experience is 17 months , so they counted my experience till Date of refrence letter not till my cec application, I did submit MY NOA for that yr I believe thats whats saving me till today, Please GOD relieve everyone from this PAIN

It varies from just 1 week to 12 weeks according to posts in this forum.

As we all could see some of us are still waiting for MRs while lots of applicants from Aug n Sep have already got MRs or even PPR. I am happy for them as they have waited enough though......

But this wait is making me very nervous....Its 10 months since they received my application....I wonder how long we need to wait? I applied for GCMS notes but not the physical file kind. Do u think they will be detailed enough to help us understand the reason of delay.....

Is there something else we could do in this situation.......

yeah, you could see the concerns visa officer had with your file in GCMS notes. I feel our files were not straightforward so while referring them to higher officers, they also sent them to detail verification or something like that (remember cic says they do audit 20% of applications) I dont personally feel that it will take so much time for some higher up to review and make decision on our eligibility there is something else going on for sure.

I think it might be too early to seek help from higher authorities.....but do u think asking help from MP is suggested in such a situation?

Another thing did you applied yourself or through some immigration lawyer?

Hi everyone, I need help pl,Im July 6 applicant, I ordered GCMS notes and it looks like they have calculated only 17 months of my work experience ,the reason is they counted the experience till the date of my Reference letter whereas I worked another yr after that too,,what should I do now??????????Pls help anyone

I know I am coming to this concern a bit late but according to the requirements mentioned below u are eligible with 17 months of experience too...wonder if your case is a bit different?....

All applicants must have:

maintained temporary resident status during their qualifying period of work experience, and provide documentation to establish they had legal temporary status in Canada,
acquired at least 12 months of full-time (or the equivalent in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in occupations that fall under Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC),
obtained the required work experience within the 36 months preceding the date their application is received,
the required level of English or French language proficiency (speaking, reading, listening and writing) for their occupational skill level,
not engaged in work in Canada without authorization,
not remained in Canada after the time authorized to do so has expired, and
not been found inadmissible to Canada on grounds such as health or security.

I applied last year too; with 2 years of full-time school n 1 year of work experience in a valid NOC B category......
I applied through a lawyer.......n I am super scared if something goes wrong will waste one whole year.....
