YeS I applied in July last yr when the requirement for me was 24 mths and for students it was 12 months. This yr the requirement is 12 mths for anyone. I wish the rule was lenient for everyone that time too.....I am too much pissed off with these Rules change. During my time they didnt have Bridgin work Permit too now they have it but my work permit is expired.......If the rules were same last yr as like today I would have been relieved from this pain long time back....Govt policies I just dont understand at all.......Although I do have 32 mths of work Experience till CEC application filed they calculated 17 mths only...pls GOD save me from this trouble,,,,,first and last wish...everyday m checking emails mail boxes letters,,,,everywhere I go they ask me r u PR by now or not...no savings left ...dont want to pay triple fees for studies....no scope for me if I go back hope going backhome starting from scratch....Parents are woriied .....Everyone waiting are worried....I wish everything just get Over without wasting my life anymore

Same here...I applied as a student but have reference letters from 2 full time employers and I also sent information n reference letter for my part time work...All of my work responsibilities n NOC code is good....I think 2 different employers in 12 months might have made suspecious/confused the VO... whatever it is...waiting is killing...haven't seen my family in last 18 months...everybody asks about PR so almost stopped calling family n friends...as I do not have any satisfying answer for their concerns...

Looking forward if GCMS notes can help...

Nah I applied by myself. I applied on July 6th 2012 and am still waiting.
Seeing everyone getting MRequests is making me very nervous. Will apply for GCMS tonight at home.

i didn't know applying for GCMS notes only cost $5! if i had known earlier i would have applied!

i don't think you should worry because they are not going in any particular order.. they will reach your file very soon! i applied by myself too! good luck!

If you are in Canada and are applying for GCMS notes for yourself, then it costs nothing. Just do it under the Privacy Act instead of the Access to Information Act.

:O why did i not notice earlier!!! i had only seen websites where it costs hundreds of dollars.. oh well. i guess i don't need it now.. but good to know for the future!!! thank you!!
